Several accommodation alternatives are available for our visitors in the Helsinki region.
Hotels
The accommodation capacity in the Helsinki metropolitan area is approximately 19 000 rooms that range from first-class hotels to hostels for those on tighter budgets.
Most hotels are within 1.5 kilometres of the city centre, and breakfast is usually included in the room rate. Many hotels in Helsinki have been granted the official Nordic Swan Ecolabel, which demonstrates that a product is a good environ-mental choice.
Pets are welcomed to most hotels in Helsinki. Many hotels take an additional fee for pets in the room.

Scandic Hotels has lifted the restrictions on dog rooms in 5 -12 August. This means that all their rooms are dog rooms and there is even more space for our visitors!

Camping with motorhomes and camper vans
Vermo Areena in Espoo is open for visitors of the WDS 2025 between 6th and 11th August. Vermo Areena is located just about 15 minutes’ drive to the WDS 2025 venue, Messukeskus Helsinki.
