I have been showing dogs for 44 years, starting out with a Pyrenean Mountain Dog and then purchasing my first Newfoundland in 1984. I am proud to have so many accolades during this time with this wonderful breed, making up 15 English Champions and 27 Irish Champions, winning multiple all breed working groups under UK KC and Group 2 FCI level (Irish KC) as well as 8 Best in Shows at All Breed Championship shows. The highlight of showing dogs came with winning the working group at Crufts 2003 and the winning second in working group Crufts 2011. Showing has taken me and my dogs around the world, representing the UK at the Eukanuba World Finals in California in 2010 and to Florida in 2011 representing Ireland. I am also proud to have bred and owned Best Male at the Newfoundland Danish Gold Cup in 2020. I began judging in 1990 and have judged in Great Britain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Denmark, Czech Republic, New Zealand, Germany, Norway and U.S.A. I am also a classic and vintage car enthusiast, exhibiting and attending car shows in between dog showing.
