Satu Ylä-Mononen

Mrs. Ylä-Mononen began her experience in purebred dogs with the breeding and exhibiting of Bernese Mountain Dogs in her native Finland 1982. She became a judge in 1999 and today is a judge of several breeds from FCI group 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 8. Ms. Ylä-Mononen has judged in numerous countries around the world, spanning Europe, Australia and North America, including at the European and World Dog shows and the World famous Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York, USA. Mrs. Ylä-Mononen is a very successful breeder in Bernese Mountain Dogs (prefix RICCARRON). She has owned/co-owned also Newfoundlands and Border Terriers. She has been very active in the club work. Nowadays she is President of the Finnish Dog Show Judges’ Society, as well as a member of the Finnish Kennel Club’s Show and Show Judges Committee.
