Finland

I was born in Helsinki in 1953. My first dog came in the end of 1960’s and it was a Dalmatian and it was the start of my long-time dog hobby. My first litter was born in 1972 and the last in 1994. Dalmatians bred by me have achieved many Champion and Winner-titles. I have been awarded the Vuolasvirta-prize, which is the highest honor for breeders by the Finnish Kennel Club. I was also very interested in handling dogs and I have handles different breeds to big wins, even at BIS-level. I have handled a Karelian Bear Dog that became Dog of the Year in Finland as well as an Irish Terrier, that became twice Dog of the Year. I have been actice in Club work as well and has been Chairman of the Finnish Dalmatian Club, the Finnish Great Dane Club and the Finnish Norwich and Norfolk Terrier Club. I became judge in 1990 and nowadays I am judging breeds of FCI groups 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10.
