Since 1971, Maija’s own breed has been the West Highland White Terrier. She’s never had that many dogs at the same time, and only a few litters have been born under Maija’s prefix Marenjan. Maija lives almost in the centre of Helsinki and has only one Westie male at the moment.
Maija became a judge at the turn of the century and became an allrounder about 20 years later. Terriers were of course her first group, but Maija has also judged a lot her other “own” group, FCI 5. In addition to Finland, other Nordic countries and Baltic countries, Maija has also judged in Italy and Poland, among others.
